For those we lost, We will not forget 09/11/2001 “Our God given unalienable rights are given to us all as individuals. They tell us what we may do for ourselves, and they are the embodiment of liberty. The so-called rights that government gives to some of us are parcelled out to select groups as classes. They tell us what one class of people may require another to do for them, and they are the very essence of slavery.”

Rennaisance Blogger has a couple of nice shots of the sea, including one of the Heceta Head lighthouse on the Oregon Coast on his blog this week. Seeing it reminded me of a few trips I've made out that way, so I figured I'd share one of the pictures I took there. It's of the same lighthouse...

Heceta Head Lighthouse

This shot was taken from a turnout just past the Sea Lion caves on Highway 101.

So you got a bit closer and a clearer day. I took mine from the Sea Lion caves...happened to look up and between the fog and the waves just saw a good shot. We loved driving up the Oregon coast that year...we froze in the middle of August! Thanks for stopping by and for the link!

I have some video of that lighthouse that I haven't ruined by adding antlers to. Yet.
