A visit to the pumpkin patch

Today we took Sidney for her first trip to the pumpkin patch. Sidney needed a little entertainment while she sat waiting in the car.

The farm where we went is very close to Mt. Si in North Bend.

A neighboring farm had a pasture full of cattle. While we were hanging around they came close by, giving us an opportunity to say hello (or is that moo).

It being fall, the leaves have been turning and, quite naturally, falling. Here's a perfect looking maple leaf sitting in the ruts left by a tractor's tires.

Watching the cows was entertainment for us all, and seemed to fascinate my granddaughter.

Now that she's almost a year and a half old, Sidney's starting to stand up on her own, and occasionally walk about a bit. Here she is standing in front of Grandma, watching our pumpkins get weighed. All in all, it was a pleasant way to spend the morning and we had fun.
Now if only all days could be this nice.
